Struan was on his way back from Coll after dropping a couple off. As he powered down the Sound of Mull he had a call from the Coastguard Helicopter. They asked if they could lower a winch man down as an exercise. Struan was more than delighted to help them. The pilot brought the helicopter very close and the winch man landed on the stern of Schiehallion. He popped in for a quick chat then hooked back on and off he went. An interesting trip home.
