Basking in the sun

Yesterday had both boats heading to Iona with a large group of Texans. The weather could not have been better with the sun blazing and very little wind. When coming into the Sound of Iona they were greeted by two large Basking sharks. The white sandy seabed made for a great clear view of the sharks.
The group had a good look round the Abbey and visited the gift shops while enjoying the sun. After lunch the boats headed for Staffa were there was another Basking Shark next to Fingals Cave. There was plenty of Puffins on the North side of Staffa flying off the cliffs into the sea. The boats then headed for Oban via the Sound of Mull to finish off the trip.
