Bill Bailey on tour

On Sunday, Cameron took Bill Bailey out on a wildlife trip and for lunch at Kingairloch. On the way out of Oban Bay they spotted Black Guillemots, Common Guillemots and Razor Bills. The weather was ideal for seeing wildlife but in the distance over Mull they noticed rain showers heading their way. Once at the Creags there were lots of Seals sunning themselves on the high tide mark. From there they cruised round Lismore Lighthouse towards Craignure where they encountered a Tern feeding frenzy! There must have been 25 Terns feeding on sprats. On the way to Kingairloch, they passed a lone Gannet gliding along and saw Yeoman Bridge docked and loading at Glensanda Quarry.
Lunch was very good at the Boathouse. Bill really enjoyed his local scallops starter on a bed of edible seaweed and Halibut special main.
After lunch they had a quick trip back to Oban as they had to get down to Loch Lomond for a trip on the sea plane.
We wish the best of luck to Bill for the rest of his tour.
