First Trip Round Mull of 2011

On Sunday Struan had a private charter with a group staying at Kingairloch Estate. It was the first trip around the Island of Mull of the year and the weather was perfect. Leaving from the Boathouse Pier the group travelled up the Sound of Mull to their first port of call, Tobermory. After a short stop they continued round the North end of Mull taking in the Treshnish Isles and in the distance Coll, Tiree and Ardnamurchan Lighthouse.
The Sea was flat calm and the weather bright making the journey to Staffa very pleasant. The group took in the breathtaking view of Fingal’s Cave set in bright blue sky before making their way to Iona. The trip allowed almost 3 hours ashore to explore the Island, have some lunch and enjoy a tour of the Abbey before it was time to set off round the South end of Mull and back to Kingairloch.
This was the third time the group had chartered Coastal Connection in as many years and the team look forward to welcoming them back in the future.
