Salen Bay to Staffa

After a week of poor weather Coastal Connection were back on the water with both boats on Wednesday. The charter started from Salen Bay Jetty in Loch Sunart and headed for Tobermory to grab chips and a drink. The team left Tobermory and headed fro Staffa on the way the group saw a submarine entering the Sound of Mull, which was an unusual sight. Once at Staffa there was a decent swell rolling in from the previous poor weather, the boats had a look at Fingals Cave and headed back to Loch Sunart. On the way back the wind dropped to nothing which made looking for porpoise easy as we entered Loch Sunart. After the passengers disembarked at Salen Bay Jetty the team headed back to base with an amazing sunset over Mull.
