Tobermory Tuesday

Today Struan was up to Tobermory for the day. The sea was flat and on the way up the Sound they managed to just miss a massive rain cloud which was passing over Ben More. The weather stayed fine in Tobermory allowing the passengers to explore the colourful fishing village. As they were on their return to Oban they passed a Super yacht called ‘Lady B’ which was an impressive sight being 147 feet long with a mast height of 179 feet!
Meanwhile Cameron was on a Wildlife & Castles trip which passed the stricken tanker ‘Yeoman Bontrup’ still anchored in the Firth of Lorne. Both boats finished their trips at the same time arriving at the Oban Times Slipway to disembark their passengers.
