Wildlife @ Mull

On Monday the team had a round Mull trip booked. They left at 0930 from Oban and cruised up the sound of Mull. On that section of the trip they spotted numerous porpoise and a close sighting of a white tailed sea eagle. After a wee stop for coffee in Tobermory they then headed to the Treshnish where they came across 7 basking sharks very close to the shore line. The guests were amazed by the sheer size of the them. The puffins packed out the shallow waters as they are starting to leave the island. 20 minutes later they had a look into Fingals cave and then a stop in Iona to explore the Abbey and have a late lunch. For the last leg back to Oban Cameron found 10 bottlenose dolphins that played with the boat. The sun was out and made for a beautiful run to Oban.
