Struan and his crewman Iain Tindall headed North of Tiree with SAMS earlier in the week. The charter entailed the recovery of 2 sea gliders. The accurate positions from the devices made it easy for the team to locate them. The ideal swing gates on the stern of Schiehallion made it very safe and easy to lift the gliders from the sea.
