Wonderful day out

★★★★★

We spent the whole day out circumnavigating Mull. We went ashore at Lunga for fabulous views of puffins, guillimots and razorbills then on to view Fingal's cave and time for tea and cake whilst listening to the corncrakes on Iona.

Boat was warm and comfortable and Cameron made us feel very safe and welcome. We would highly recommend this company for sea travels from Oban.

Amazing experience

★★★★★

"Been on two trip with the boys Struan and Cameron with my wife and family and can say that it was just amazing the weather and the nothing is too much trouble attitude of both made our day special. We saw seals, seal eagles, porpoises and the famous Oban whale.

The sheer knowledge of both the twin was vast and made the trip enjoyable. Learned a lot on a 2 hour trip. Can't wait to return and do it all again for the whole day.

Thanks again for wonderful experience!"

Great boating experience in Oban

★★★★★

"We were on the last day of the holiday and as we do not feel we have been on hols unless we have been on a boat we headed to Oban (from Perthshire).

We quickly found a trip advertised for a 2 hour trip to see wildlife. We rang the number and luckily they had a couple of spare sears. The boats seat 12 people in comfort. It was a cold day and although it was open at the back (where you could stand if you wanted) it was not cold at all. The guide was friendly and knowledgable about the area. We saw seals and some stunning eagles.

This is a great way to spend a couple of hours."

A fun trip was had by all

★★★★★

"Thanks to our host Struan who treated us to a fun packed trip to Tobermory, our host was full of information during our day trip to this beautiful island, it took us about 1hr 10 mins from the north pier Oban passing close by Castle Duart to arrive at our destination. we spent just under 3 1/2 hours there before setting back, on the way back we were treated to seeing Porpoises, shags, a red stag and grey and common seals arriving back just before five. Struan strives to make the experience very personnel to his guests and I would highly recommend them.

All in all the cost is about £14 more than you would pay for the ferry and bus which takes another hour from Craignure but as we had elderly folk with us one who took his mobility scooter it seemed very good value for money with the added benifit of more time at Tobermory.

Thanks Struan, Brgds Graham."

Fabulous Experience

★★★★★

"I can highly recommend this sea adventure. Able to go on the Castle and Seal boat trip on the 1st November. The two hour trip was fun, informative, relaxed and highly enjoyable and I consider great value for money.

It made my short break to the highlands , thank you Coastal Connection."

Superb Service

★★★★★

"I had occasion to use Coastal Connection twice last week. Once for a trip to Islay and secondly for a trip around Mull via, Tobermory, Fingal's Cave and Iona. Fantastic and personable service from the family run business. The modern Redbay boats were fast and comfortable with covered seating which kept us warm and dry throughout. We travelled with Cameron on one day and his twin, Struan, on the other. Both of them were professional, courteous and fully informative, demonstrating good knowledge of the local wildlife, geography and history.

We left at the end of each day fully satisfied. This was by far the best thing we did during our visit to the West Coast of Scotland. Old or young everyone enjoyed the trip."
