Struan received a call at 1700 for an urgent part to be taken to Barra. So the part was delivered by motorbike from Glasgow to Oban where they met the team waiting at the North pier. At 2010 with an amazing sunset the team headed North West. Then at 2310 they arrived at Castle Bay and the engineers took the part. The part was required for a vital island link.
The calm seas and no swell allowed a smooth run back to base for 0245.
