Last week the team were contacted at short notice. It was an urgent part that was required to be taken to RRS Discovery. She was on route to Iceland so she change course to rendezvous with the twins. The part flew to Heathrow then courier to Oban where it met the team. It wasn’t the best of forecasts but as so often it does the weather cleared and made for an incredible evening. The part was transfer across just NE of Coll and then off she went into the sunset.
