The weather has been chopping and changing again. Last Saturday was a perfect day. One of the charters was a full day round Mull. The day started off from Lismore lighthouse and headed along the south end of Mull. The first encounter of wildlife was a lone bottlenose dolphin. It had a wee play next to the boat and surfed the wake. After that they powered towards Iona for a wander up to the Abbey. On route to Lunga they had a look into the naturally pillared lined Fingals Cave. The bird life was in full display on Lunga. Lots of puffins, guillemots, razorbills, fulmars and shags along the coastal path lined with seagrass, primroses and bluebells. It never fails to disappoint. On the way back to the lighthouse they spotted an eagle near Tobermory.
A cracker of a day.
