Rissos Dolphins

Cameron had a couple of regular customers on a private charter from Tobermory yesterday. The weather was very poor visibility in the morning but cleared as they departed Tob. The sea went mirror calm and seabirds started to show up as they headed towards the Small Iles. After lunch at Muck they powered on towards Coll. Cameron spot some splashing in the distance, so they went to investigate. Usually this is common dolphins but soon realised it was a pod of Rissos Dolphins. The first time the skipper have ever seen this species. Amazing how different they are and almost white some of them. The day was topped off with a minke whale and a very close fly by of a sea eagle.
