East Coast

The team were asked to venture to a different coastline a couple of weeks ago. The Northern Lighthouse Board (NLB) had an issue with Rattray Lighthouse, which is located just North of Peterhead. The wee plastic boat Fingal was ideal for the task (originally NLV Pole Star’s tender). They loaded her up and hauled her East. Cameron and Robbie took the engineers out to the 1895 lighthouse. They sorted the problem and headed back to shore. An interesting job, the boys always enjoy a new challenge. Cameron also spotted a puffin over there!
