A few pufflings have been spotted West of Mull. The wee puffins that have fledged this year are off into the Atlantic ocean with the adults. It is believed that this years pufflings will head out into the high seas, then in 2 years return back to the West coast. Incredible how these small seabirds survive in the harsh elements.
