Recently the team carried out a survey in the Sound of Iona. It was a bit of an intense day this one. They needed data from each side of the sound every 15 minutes for a 12 hour period! Struan took this one on with Schiehallion, she was ideal for shallow draft and the frame on the stern worked perfect for the sonar equipment. If anyone is wondering…… he covered 43 nautical miles just in the sound of Iona!
