The Black Guillemot has become a real character in Oban bay. always a joy to watch from the boat and the esplanade. They are definitely the one bird that has built in numbers since the boys started 17 years ago. Seen all along the coast line these days. Brave wee birds that tough out the winter and change their plumage to grey in the colder months.
