The Corry

When the moon is right and the weather falls into place the Corryvreckan whirlpool runs hard. It is a very impressive sight and also the feeling of what Mother Nature can produce. Due to the topography of the seabed and the bottleneck between Scarba and Jura it produces such a phenomenon. The wildlife is abundant down there too, from seals to sea eagles. Always a memorable trip to the South.
