Another fine day on the West Coast

The Coastal Connection team were once again out on the water in beautiful weather. The first trip of the day was a cruise up Loch Etive taking in the sights of Connel Bridge and Bonawe Quarry. Clear blue skies made the scenery even more breathtaking.
Once the guests had disembarked, the team headed over to the NLB pier ready for the second trip of the day. They collected engineers and equipment and took them out to Lismore Lighthouse for the final stage of maintainance on the Lighthouse.
Due to a strong North Westerly blowing the usual North Slipway was not an option so the team used the South Slipway instead. Once Power of Scotland was tied alongside the slipway it was well sheltered by the Island.
A following sea made for a quick journey back to base.
