Busy end to the week
Friday was a bit crazy! Struan was still helping out down at Jura with the ferry to the mainland and Cameron was going to Tobermory to pick up 12 men who had been competing in the Tobermory Highland Games. They wanted something different on the way back to Oban so Cameron took them up and round the North end of Lismore. The weather was fantastic and the scenery stunning.
Once that was done, Cameron and crew Peter went to help a friend guide a yacht which had a few small engine issues into Blavicar. Once the yacht was safely in Balvicar Cameron travelled back to Loch Feochan to take on some fuel before his next charter, a trip to Colonsay with one person that had missed the ferry. Cameron didn’t get back till 0130 the next morning, whilst Struan was staying the night in Jura.
Both boats had covered over 350 nautical miles in one day so a good night’s sleep was enjoyed!
