Classic Malts, Talisker

On Thursday the 16th both boats headed up to Loch Harport in Skye. Talisker had 87 yachts achored in front of the distillery, it was Coastal Connection’s job to act as a water taxi. It was a great setting with all of the yachts achored with their flags flying and the Black Cullin ridge in the back ground. The boats were busy from 1800 to 2030 due to the party starting at 1830. Then it was a late shift from 2130 till 0100 taking the merry skippers and crew back to their yachts. It was a great occassion and the weather could not have been better for manoeuvring around the tightly anchored yachts.
The following morning the wind had increased from the North which pushed us back down to the Sound of Mull in no time at all. Once in the Sound it was an easy cruise back to Loch Feochan.

It was a great event and very well organised. I am sure the rest of the cruise will go well.
