Filming on Coll

Yesterday Struan was out to Coll as low cloud cover meant the scheduled plane couldn’t fly. Their passengers were a Dutch film crew who needed to get out to Coll that day, so Struan took them straight out. The visibility was poor but the sea was flat calm making for a comfortable journey to Coll. When the group arrived at Arinagour the cloud had lifted giving blue skies and blazing sunshine. Due to the better weather the film crew were able to take the plane back to Oban so after a quick lunch the team headed back to base. On the way back, there was four low flying jets and seven navy warships in the Firth of Lorne which was an unusual sight.
