Just a call away

Tonight we had a strange charter. We were chartered to go to Crinan to pick up a mobile phone. The reason being a businessman left it in Northern Ireland and being a business phone it was very important. So another yacht brought the phone across the North Channel to Campbelltown then drove to Crinan, where we were waiting then headed up to Oban. The businessman was relieved to get his phone back in one piece.
The sea conditions were great and had a strong spring tide agaist us on the way down, but still made it in plenty of time. Could be a while before we get another charter like that!
