Lighthouse Transfer

Coastal Connection received a call to assist the NLB (Northern Lighthouse Board) on Thursday. The team headed round to the NLB pier and picked up 2 engineers and a lot of gear from cable to paint. The engineers will be staying on Lismore Lighthouse for 2 weeks, during this time they will be finishing the painting of the lighthouse and carrying out some rewiring.
It was a wet day and visibility was reduced. The crossing was good and the tide at a good height for the pier. The picture shows the amount of gear and the slip where Rannochmor was tied up.
We hope the weather clears up for the engineers.
