Mixed Weather

On Saturday the forecast was for strong winds in the morning but was due to drop after 1400. With a private charter to Tobermory the group had a picnic lunch in Loch Feochan then with the wind dropping they made the transfer to Tobermory. The Sound of Mull provided great shelter. One strange sight was the fresh snow on the mountains on Mull and the mainland, which is not often seen in May!

In Tobermory the ex salvage tug Holland which is now a mini cruise ship has been in the area.
