Servicing the boats

This week, between trips and with good tides, we have managed to service both boats. This starts with taking the boats out of the water and loading them onto the trailers. Servicing them involves, draining the gear oil out of both stern drives, cleaning the filters, greasing all moving parts, filling the stern drives with fresh oil and adjusting all nuts and bolts to the correct torque.
Both boats had their hulls scrubbed and cleaned to remove any growth on them. Once this is done the boats go back on the shore at low tide waiting to be floated off at high tide.
The boats are now all set for the Winter Season.
