Swell Time
Yesterday Struan had a private charter from Loch Aline which headed up the Sound of Mull then round to Staffa to have a look at Fingal’s Cave. Due to some bad weather in the Atlantic the past few days there was a decent swell rolling in. The swell was breaking right into the cave and spray going half way up the cliffs. They continued on to Iona for lunch and walk to the Abbey. After lunch they headed North passing many Puffins and Fulmars round to Tobermory. The kids explored Balamory but struggled to find their favorite characters. The last leg of the trip was down the sound skirting round a massive rain shower and into Loch Alines new pontoons.
