Rissos

In deeper water Cameron spotted a pod of Rissos dolphins, there were up to 20 in the pod. They seemed very relaxed and travelling slowly. Very different looking to the other dolphins in the area, the sheer size, very white scarring in some cases and a melon shaped head. Always a very special encounter. They can grow up to 4 metres and weigh in at 500kgs! Also believed they can live up to 30yrs old.
