Break in the weather

This morning, Coastal Connection managed to transfer passengers from Oban to Craignure. Due to the gale force winds on Thursday the group had missed their ferry back to Mull. Luckily due to a break in the weather forecast they were able to transfer the party in under 25 minutes. The sea state was calm with only a lazy swell from the West but within four hours of the team returning to base the wind had once again picked up. Gusts up to 52 knots (60mph) were recorded in Loch Feochan this afternoon.
