Corry & Coll

Cameron had a private charter on Friday. The weather looked poor in the morning but as the day went on it cleared and the scenery was very dramatic with differing light. They left Oban and cruised through Cuan and down to Croabh for lunch. After a tasty lunch they headed for the Corryvreckan. The power could be seen with the large tides. Red deer, wild goats and a sea eagle was spotted in the area. It was a simple run back up to Oban from Jura.

At 2030 Cameron and Struan took a family over to Coll. The weather was in their favour with calm seas for most of the trip. There were lots of sightings of fireworks as they powered up the sound. There was a wee sea running as they left the sheltered waters but dropped to nothing at Coll. After some transfers to the shore via the tender (due to low tide) the twins headed for Tobermory for the night. The following morning they made the last dash to Loch Feochan.
A great night for a run over to Coll.
