Fruity Delivery

Yesterday Coastal Connection had a last minute call to deliver some fruit and veg to the Island of Tiree. This was one of the strangest transfers the company has done.
The cargo had missed the Thursday morning Ferry and it had to get to Tiree, as the next sailing was not till Saturday.
The sea conditions were good with a slight swell from the Atlantic, the route went up the Sound of Mull and took 2 hours 15 minutes. The return journey went straight passed the South end of Iona and back into Loch Feochan before it got dark.
