North & South

Cameron was at Eriska today picking up a large group for a private charter. It was a fresh day with a North East wind funneling down the Great Glen. The cabin provided vital shelter from the elements. They cruised up to Castle Stalker then down to Glensanda to see the worlds largest bulk carrier tying up. As they powered over to Lismore lighthouse the guests spotted the magical sight of a Sea Eagle. The NLV Pharos was anchored off Lismore lighthouse while her helicopter was lifting gear from the Lighthouse to the vessel. From there they saw Duart Castle and then over to Kerrera and a wee look in Oban. Lots of seals where spotted at the Creags before they returned to Eriska.

Struan was down South with a private charter. He took his guests to the Corryvreckan and had a look for the wildlife at the North end of Jura. Croabh was the chosen place for lunch and an ideal place to get out of the elements. From Croabh Struan took the scenic run through Cuan Sound and then into the tricky entrance of Loch Feochan. The last run was a simple run back round to Oban.

A busy day on the water and the weather cleared towards the end of the day.
