Oban Sea Kayak Race
Coastal Connection had a busy day out on the water yesterday.
Struan collected a family from Eriska and took them over to The Boathouse Restaurant at Kingairloch for lunch. On the way there they had a look at Castle Stalker in the bright sunshine and after a lovely lunch they were taken back to Eriska to enjoy the rest of the day.
Struan then headed for Kerrera to act as a support boat for the Sea Kayak Race around the Island. 53 competitors took on the challenge with the winner finishing after just 1 hour 55 minutes. The weather was variable with only one shower. All money raised was donated to the RNLI. Well done to everyone who took part.
Meanwhile, Cameron went to Tobermory for the day with a 30th Birthday party. The group had a good day of celebration before heading back to Oban.
